HOT ! Mantis Turquoise Necklace

Mantis Ribbon Turquoise Necklace - This is a large piece of Mantis Ribbon Turquoise which is found in Nevada and can only be obtained from the Otteson mining family. The mine is small and so the turquoise is limited and rare. The black matrix of this stone really make the blue turquoise pop. Very rock & roll necklace! Meant to be worn short or as a choker, this necklace is adjustable to wear from 16.5” or shorter.

The stone is set in fine silver on a sterling silver backplate and both the border and bails are textured by hand hammering. The entire necklace has been oxidized to highlight the textures. The oval rolo chain has a handmade hook clasp and is adjustable. The back of the pendant is stamped with the Shiny Objects makers mark.
