Detailed information on Dabu Indigo Stripe Rug

This naturally dyed Indigo rug is hand-loomed by a group of woman-owned and operated artisans in India.

MATERIAL: 90% cotton / 10% polyester, natural Indigo dye

MEASURES: approx. 2\' x 3\' (not including tassels)

CARE:
- spot-treatment & hand-washing recommended
- spot-treat with or soak overnight in white vinegar diluted with cool water
- do not scrub, gently squeeze out water and hang to dry
- natural soaps/detergents may also be used (stick to clear & bleach-free)
- not recommended for use over other carpeting, rug pad recommended

Please be aware that all true naturally-dyed indigo may lighten over time. This is its natural quality and not a defect. Only chemically dyed “indigo” sets permanently. Home of the Brave does not use chemicals of any kind.

Variations of size, dye colors, fringing, threading, and weaving reflect the artisans\' individualized creative techniques and are the nature of the hand-looming process; each difference is a part of the rug\'s unique beauty.
