Carved by hand from Guatemalan jadeite, this pendant by Kerry Thompson is defined by its material purity and precise form. The stone is dense and tactile, polished to a bright, luminous finish that reveals a striking glacial blue tone. Its strong shape is rendered with clean, deliberate lines, creating a design that highlights the jadeite’s natural glow and inherent depth.

In Mayan culture, jadeite was revered as a sacred, living substance whose acqua green colour symbolised life-giving water, breath, and regeneration. This spiritual significance made it a valuable material of the times, more precious than gold.

Kerry has finished TEAL LAGOON with a bright polish, it glows with a glacial blue that is unusual and striking.
