Inspired by vertical sundials that tell the time with the shadow from the sun, this solid gold pendant is hand engraved with roman numeral hour markers and accented with milgrain detail. The sundial illustrates the relationship between the passing of time and the Earth\'s rotation, encouraging us to take in the moment and have an appreciation for time and its value. It is one of the earliest time-keeping instruments and exists today as a symbol of the fleeting and precious gift of time. Made in the U.S.A.
