An alluring English necklace in the Arts and Crafts style. Ethereal blue-green enamel is applied to the elegant sterling silver pendant. Art Nouveau influences are apparent in the curvaceous pendant\'s feminine lines. The enamel is deeply saturated in color, mottled with rich blue, green, and turquoise jewel tones. A jump ring suspends the pendant from a vintage sterling silver cable chain. The piece bears hallmarks for Birmingham, sterling silver, and 1908. It is also signed \"J.F.,\" the maker\'s mark for James Fenton & Co.
James Fenton & Co. was a Birmingham silversmith working from 1854 to 1956. During the Victorian era, the company came to be well known for its manufacture of silver and gold thimbles. Later, they began producing lovely silver and enamel jewelry.
Details.....The chain is 21\" long, and the pendant measures .90\" by 1.90\". In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect small imperfections in vintage and antique jewelry; we consider this to be part of their charm.
