The Rare Weaves: Kazak collection draws inspiration from antique patterns. This collection is a nod to the history of Caucasian Armenian carpet weaving. Each rug is hand-made using the nomadic style wool warp and wept foundation of high-quality Armenian wool. The Kazak designs hail from the western region of Armenia. The collection offers rugs in various sizes, each featuring vibrant colors and bold, archetypal designs. Each rug is one-of-a-kind and made outside of Yerevan, Armenia. The medallions on this Seychour II rug are similar to that of the sunburst or Eagle Kazaks. This Seychour II rug was handcrafted in Armenia of 100% Armenian wool using our plush Kazak weave which has a pile height around a third of an inch. The field color is ivory with the medallions and motifs in navy, burnished gold, red, and deep blue.
