Famed for their design, this tribal Yalemeh Turkoman scatter rug comes from the southwestern part of Persia and was woven by nomadic peoples, using wool from their herds and vegetable dyes from their land. These great rugs are produced entirely from wool with fine knotting and tightly packed pile. These scatter rugs have elements in the field, elephant footprints. Yalemeh rugs are amongst the best of the tribal rugs. It has a velvety texture and will serve for centuries to come.
