This one-of-a-kind three tier necklace is made of handcrafted porcelain beads. The textured surface of the porcelain beads is created with vintage lace. The lace is dipped into porcelain slip, which is applied to the surface of the bead. Once fired in the kiln the lace burns, leaving behind only a memory of the lace pattern, this haptic surface is then glazed with gold luster. A beautiful contrast with the white smooth surface of the white porcelain beads.
The beads are strung on a satin gold finished string with a 14 karat gold-filled magnetic clasp. The tiers are 17 inches, 18 inches and 19 inches in length.
