WHAI - Hand Carved Manta Ray Pendant in ancient Woolly Mammoth Tusk

This is a lovely pendant that beautifully reflects these marvellous ocean flyers. Anyone who has dived with these gentle and graceful underwater creatures will appreciate this pendant.

Carved from beautiful golden mammoth tusk with lots of character - perfect for these wonderful rays.

The Mammoth Tusk used for this piece is CERTIFIED 34,690 YEARS OLD (+/- 815 years). All our Woolly Mammoth pieces are provided with our certificate of authenticity.

We had our mammoth material carbon dated to get an accurate measure of its age. The testing was done for us by GNS Science, a New Zealand Crown Research Institute and New Zealand\'s leading provider of Earth, geoscience and isotope research - so their assessment of this material is as accurate as is possible using radiocarbon dating technology.

We have two cord colours available; please use the drop-down menu to make your selection.

WHAI is provided with an adjustable cord and packaged in a woven kete pouch.

Please note: every pendant is hand carved from Mammoth Tusk. We don\'t treat the tusk, it is completely natural so there are differences in the colour of every single one.
