Art Deco Red Buddha marcasite made in France sterling silver antique pendant necklace. The Stunning red coral has the beautiful texture as seen through a loop on the back of the carving. It is prong set in sterling silver sitting atop a fanned open work shelf encrusted with a frame of marcasite stones. Very iconic Art Deco design. Stamped on the reverse Made In France. This is iconic of the high end pieces of the time. Comes with sterling silver chain. There are a few chipped marcasites through the piece but none are missing. This could be the natural carving of the stones.
Acid tests positive for sterling silver.
Pendant measures 20 inches long.
Necklace measures 2 inches tall and 5/8ths of an inch wide.
