A beautiful and rare early Tissot “Bumper” Automatic from 1951 with a very unusual beefy lug and wide bezel case (ref 6580-3)

The case measures 34mm without crown, 41mm lug to lug, 11.5mm thick with a 18mm lug width.
It is powered by a Swiss made in-house automatic caliber Tissot 28.5-21 with 17 jewels. It runs and keeps good time. The service history is unknown.
