A rare and interesting Tissot Jubileum from 1955.
The Jubileum models were made to celebrate the 100 years of Tissot in 1953 and, as shown by this example, for a couple more years.
This one is especially interesting for the context described on the case back. The watch was gifted to Walter Widmer on the 10th of September 1955 by the state of Burgdorf (Switzerland) for his service as a fireman.
Therefore, this watch was a double celebration for Tissot and for Walter.

New Tissot leather strap with steel buckle (non-tissot)
The case measures 33mm without crown, 43mm lug to lug, 11mm thick with a 18mm lug width.
It is powered by a manual wind caliber Tissot 27B. It has been fully serviced in October 2024.
