Textile Origin Story:

I live in a remote area, up a dirt road, cut into a cliff - the very definition of the road less travelled! One day, as I am driving from my house, I notice that someone has thrown a couple dozen roses from the window of their car. They were beautiful! I picked them up and brought them back to my house where I took way too many pictures of them. I ended up creating a medallion style textile from the photos as well as a provocative back story for the roses. It stars a woman, striking out on her own and throwing the roses from her window in a final act of defiance! Love Lost; that is how this textile got its name.
