Fantastic French mid-century modern bronze trestle dining table attributed to Maison Ramsay. The table features a heavy and thick patinated bronze trestle base with gracefully curved architectural \"C\" scroll legs. The legs have a hanging square buckle on the top and a Greek key motif foot on the bottom. The legs are conjoined by a long hardwood stretcher. The table is topped with a large rectangular hardwood top measuring nearly 10 feet long. The top features an amazing sunburst pattern design of book matched hardwood veneers. The design has a fine thread inlay, border of brass with a center brass medallion. The radial grain patterns are geometric and make a dramatic presentation. The table top is thick with a beveled edge that tapers to the thin edge. The design evokes neoclassical architecture with a fine silhouette and profile.
