Detailed information on Vintage Silver Zar Egyptian Bracelet with Dangles

A rare zar bracelet from the first half of the twentieth Century. Made in a C-shape from a band of low-grade silver that is folded back to form the finials. The bracelet has lots of dangles. Because of its dangles, the bracelet is very well suited to dance as the discs make a jingly sound with movement. In good vintage condition. Unmarked but tested positive for silver on a scratch test.

The inner circumference is 16.5 cm (6 1/2\") including a 2.8 cm (1 1/8\") gap. The inner diameter is 5.5 cm (2 1/84\"). The width is 1.2 cm (1/2\"). Weight is 52.9 g.
