This beautiful necklace depicts a winter dragon in a garden that has a mixture of flowers and snowflakes. It is made using Miyuki, Toho, and Czech beads. It also has acrylic, and glass flowers and leaves. And finally fresh water pearls and crystals.
I am a resident of Idyllwild since 2023, who began making bead jewelry in 2018. When Covid hit, as with many of us my work changed I went from stringing beads to more sculptural bead weaving. My work spans from floral works to whimsical. Sometimes it may be more of an outlet for my mental state, or more abstract. Most of it is influenced by nature.
