HOT ! Tahitian Pearl Necklace

This tahitian pearl necklace is pure elegance. To create this piece, I have combined a large, genuine tahitian pearl with both gold and silver. This mixed metal style keeps the look current, and a little edgy. The chain is a lightweight, gold-filled satellite chain, with tiny beads spaced evenly for interest. Beneath the dark grey pearl is a dainty tassel made from several strands of tiny black spinel gemstones. These little stones sparkle and dance as you move, and the bright sterling silver wire makes them shine. The tassel section slides along the chain on a small silver bail, which allows you to remove the tassel and add it to a different chain. This tassel would look equally lovely with a sterling silver chain, or an oxidized silver chain.

Necklace is approx. 18\" (46cm) long, and the pearl and tassel section hangs down an additional 3\" (7.6cm).

What is Gold-Filled?

Gold-filled is an economical alternative to solid gold. By law, it has 1/20th by weight layer of 14 karat gold permanently bonded over a core of base metal. It is tarnish-resistant, safe for sensitive skin and unlike gold plate, it will not wear off. It is a great way to enjoy affordable gold jewellery.
