Presented is an elegant 14 karat gold and pearl necklace. This is an Italian made piece, likely made within the past 40 years. The necklace consists of long gold wire \'links\' with a slight spiral or wave design, alternating with drilled pearls. The pearls are baroque, oval shaped pearls, varying slightly in size and shape, but matching beautifully in color. The pearls average about 8.3 by 7.8, and are a lovely white with rose and silvery overtones and rich orient. The necklace has a lobster claw style clasp.

The necklace is in great condition. The pearls are all in good shape, with nice smooth nacre overall. The clasp functions well and closes securely.

The necklace is stamped 14k and Italy on the end opposite the clasp, with 585 for 14 karat gold on the clasp.

The necklace is about 19 3/8 inches long.

The necklace weighs 13 grams.
