Makita GCV04ZUX Description

The 40V max XGT® Brushless 4 Gallon HEPA Filter Dry Dust Extractor with AWS® (GCV04ZUX) delivers over 2X more suction power with 148 CFM and 92\" water lift*.

The GCV04ZUX features a three-stage HEPA filtration system which captures 99.97% of particulates .3 microns and larger. An automatic self-cleaning filter system compresses and expands the damper, which shakes dust from pre-filter, maintaining optimal suction and longer filter life. The motor chamber is constructed with sound-absorbing materials for lower noise (only 67 dB(A)).

The Dust Extractor comes equipped with cleaning accessories; anti-static hose (1\" x 11’) and three adapter cuffs (22, 24, and 38 mm) for dust extraction. It also includes a removable attachment for storing the hose and accessories on the dust extractor.

Added features include an oversized on-off switch, variable speed control dial, and dual L.E.D. battery indicators. A large rubber bumper helps prevent damage to the work environment and a locking cover protects the batteries. Rear casters with locking levers prevent the vacuum from moving. It is equipped with Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™), which is engineered for improved dust and water resistance for operation in harsh job site conditions.

Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS®) uses Bluetooth® technology for wireless power-on and power-off communication between the equipped tool and dust extractor. Once connected via AWS, the AWS-equipped dust extractor will automatically power on or off when the AWS-equipped cordless tool starts or stops, running only when the tool is in use. This increases productivity on a single charge and reduces continuous noise at the job or work site. AWS is activated with an AWS Wireless Transmitter.
