This pendant measures 1 5/8\" long overall by 1/2\" wide.  It comes with an 18\" sterling silver box chain. Other chain lengths available by request.

The reverse side of the pendant shows the heron\'s footprints.

Great Blue Herons are the tallest of the herons and live year round where there are wetlands, fresh or salt water, and are therefore a common site throughout North America. Most often solitary birds, herons exhibit stealth, grace, and patience as they stalk small fish in the shallows. Herons are powerful in flight and a deliberate slow hunter with a stalking stride that seems to tell everything else to stand aside. Ever watchful, the heron is presented as a wise teacher and as a symbol of good luck and patience.
