HOT ! Mystical Skies — One-of-a-Kind Enamel & Azurite Silver Necklace Set

 Mystical Skies captures that quiet moment when day and night overlap — when color lingers, light shifts, and the world feels suspended between two breaths. Living in the mountains, I see those skies often. This piece is my way of holding onto that feeling.

The pendant is built from hand-fired enamel layered slowly through multiple kiln firings. Sometimes five. Sometimes twenty. I never rush enamel. The colors develop in their own time, flowing and merging in ways I can guide but never fully control. That unpredictability is what makes every enameled piece alive — and truly one of a kind.

Crowning the enamel is a striking azurite with natural inclusions that echo the same movement and mystery found in the sky-inspired surface below it. The stone and enamel speak to each other, creating a sense of depth and motion that changes with the light.

The handcrafted silver chain is accented with bright apatite stones spaced along its length, reinforcing the sky palette while adding rhythm and sparkle. The necklace wraps and fastens in the front, designed intentionally as part of the visual composition rather than hidden away.

This piece includes a pair of matching handcrafted silver earrings, completing the set while allowing each element to stand beautifully on its own.

All metal was cut, formed, and finished entirely by hand in my Appalachian studio. The enameled elements are backed with textured copper — a metal long appreciated for its grounding qualities and connection to the body.
