Each year, Theo introduces around a dozen innovative ideas, resulting in about fifty new and original eyewear models. Innovation in the use of materials is another highly important criterion for Theo. It\'s 2006 and Theo launches a revolutionary eyewear line, the \"Designer Collection,\" featuring four eyewear models, that combines stainless steel and plastic materials in a completely novel way. The plastic material encases the stainless steel in a 0.5 mm layer. The steel provides stability and flexibility to the frames, but since the structure is primarily made of plastic, the glasses are extremely lightweight. The models are named Walter, Ann, Bernhard, and Wim, after famous fashion designers from Antwerp.
