HOT ! Sarsi Leaf Essential Oil

Sarsi leaf essential oil has been successfully extracted and introduced to the market for the first time by the research team at areme from a distinctive wild herb popularly grown in Tay Ninh province of Vietnam.  Traditionally used as a culinary herb in various local dishes, sarsi leaf boasts a distinctive, licorice-sweet aroma with caramel and vanilla undertones, reminiscent of root beer.

The scent of sarsi leaf essential oil is somewhat similar to Sassafras wood oil, which is highly valued (because of the wood itself) but restricted due to its potential misuse of the oil. This rare and unique fragrance of sarsi leaf sets it apart, making it an intriguing addition to any essential oil collection. Though scientific research on the health benefits of sarsi leaf essential oil is still limited, this plant has been long used as both culinary herb for local dishes and as medicinal herb to treat cold, cough and fever symptoms.
