Despite its slipper-like appearance the Weekender is suitable for outdoor wear should you want to run for the newspaper fetch the mail or a pick up a stack of firewood while wearing these ultra-plush moccasins. In fact we like to wear them to our favorite coffee shop to pick up our morning brew and we always get compliments on them. They\'re constructed of three leathers: the sole is a thick cowhide the main part is made of double-face tanned thick sheepskin and the toe and collar are made from a custom line of leather developed by our leather distributor that\'s very supple and incredibly soft. We couldn\'t be more pleased with how they turned out - and we predict that you\'ll agree that they\'re incredibly comfortable. One nice feature of soft-soled shoes is that there\'s no rubber sole to trap the body heat - meaning these breathe comfortably allowing you to extend the wearing season into the summer should you choose to do so. We\'ve named this style \"Weekender\" and they\'re a part of our \"Select\" line of men\'s Cota moccasins. This canoe-style moccasin is a classic and it offers a great barefoot feel.
