Gunny Straps was founded by Peter Gunny while he was searching for vintage looking straps. Unable to find something exactly like he wanted he met with a friend who was working in the leather business and, with his friends advice and help, he decided to make his own straps. The result was a great success so he decided to produce his own brand of watch straps. 

Gunny Straps are hand made and hand finished straps that are mostly suited to, but not limited to, Panerai and other big watches. Because they\'re all made by hand, with the use of small manual tools, you might find some minor imperfections or small differences between straps from the same type. 

A handmade strap is different from a factory machine made strap so each strap is unique, and each has their own character, especially so for the distressed/vintage style. 

If you expect precision, perfectly aligned stitching and perfect colour uniformity then you\'re in the wrong place, but if you\'re looking for a handmade artisan strap, individually numbered and with its own unique character then you\'re definitely in the right place!
