The Omega Constellation Collection, introduced in 1952, signifies a cornerstone in horological excellence. Named to evoke the celestial precision of its timekeeping, the collection was initially celebrated for its pioneering design and chronometric performance. The original models featured a distinctive \"pie-pan\" dial, named for its unique shape, which added depth and dimension and became a hallmark of sophistication.

What\'s on Offer

I think the Constellation is my favourite range from Omega, they are just so elegant and beautiful and this example is no exception. Just look at the beautiful gold linen-textured dial boasting applied furniture.

The hour plots present elegant baton markers with onyx inserts and the super slim pencil hands correspond. There is a subtle framed date aperture at 3 o\'clock and the dial is completed with the Constellation and Omega signatures.

The \'C\' shape case is in nice shape with minimal signs of wear. On the case back you will note the observatory emblem which is of course synonymous with the Constellation collection.

The watch is paired with its original Omega \'brick\' style bracelet, which is much less common than the beads of rice bracelets and in my opinion, a much nicer-looking style. The gold plating has depleted in some places but we have left the watch in its original condition, you could choose to change the bracelet should you so wish, or have it re-plated! 

A beautiful and timeless design, you simply cannot go wrong with any vintage Omega. 

And as it was registered new on the 2nd November 1974 it would be an ideal (50th) Birth Year Watch.
