The \'rexangle\' is a new shape for Cutler & Gross: a combination of a hexagon and a rectangle. An unusual shape that offers the best of both worlds. The double milling, characteristic of the 1384, is repeated in the 1385. The bold angles give the frame a natural, unstructured fluidity. Traditional Italian techniques are translated into a new form of design and interpretation. The fit is comfortable and familiar, yet contrasted with postmodern colors and patterns, very similar to the Piazza d\'Italia in New Orleans, the work of the famous postmodern architect Charles Moore.
